IlluminateHER is a 10-week journey designed for girls ages 11–19 to explore identity, voice, and emotional resilience through creative self-expression. Using True Beauty Discovery’s signature 7 Legends™ identity framework and the participatory PhotoVoice method, girls learn to see their lives—and themselves—through a new lens.
Each week, participants curate photos tied to themes like belonging, culture, joy, and power, pairing them with reflective writing and guided dialogue. They build confidence, emotional insight, and storytelling skills in a safe, supportive community. The experience culminates in a gallery event where each girl showcases her journey in images and words—owning her frame and her voice.
IlluminateHER was created for the girl who is ready to explore her identity, claim her power, and let her story shine. Designed for middle and high school girls (ages 11–19), this program offers a bold space where participants: Discover their inner voice and unique strengths; Explore the world through their own lens—literally and figuratively and Build a body of work that reflects their courage, creativity, and resilience.
